Official Rules
& Privacy

1. Sponsor and promotion period

The Bottom of the Bag Flavor Vote Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by Bottom of the Bag LLC (“Sponsor”), with a mailing address of:

The Giveaway begins at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on September 15, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on October 31, 2026.

2. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old and the age of majority in their state at the time of entry. Employees, contractors and immediate-family or household members of Sponsor are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

3. How to enter

During the promotion period, visit the Giveaway website, complete the packaging and flavor survey, provide the required contact information, confirm eligibility and submit the form. Limit one entry per person and email address. Automated, incomplete, fraudulent or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

4. Prize

One winner will receive one $500 Amazon.com Gift Card. Approximate retail value: $500. Amazon is not a sponsor of or affiliated with this Giveaway. The prize is non-transferable and no cash substitution will be provided by Sponsor, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner selection and notification

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries within five business days after the Giveaway closes. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received. Sponsor will contact the potential winner using the email address provided. The potential winner must respond within 72 hours and may be required to confirm eligibility and sign an affidavit and release. If the potential winner does not respond or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

6. General conditions

By entering, entrants agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final. Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure or another factor impairs its integrity. Entrants are responsible for any applicable taxes. To the extent permitted by law, entrants release Sponsor from claims arising from participation or prize acceptance.

7. Flavor ideas

Flavor suggestions are not confidential. By submitting an idea, the entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to use, develop, adapt and commercialize the suggestion without additional notice or compensation. Entrants acknowledge that Sponsor may already be developing similar ideas.

8. Privacy notice

Effective September 15, 2026. This notice explains how Bottom of the Bag LLC handles information collected through the Giveaway website.

Information collected

  • Contact and eligibility information: first and last name, email address, ZIP code and eligibility confirmations.
  • Survey information: packaging and flavor votes, purchase preferences, chip-purchase frequency and submitted flavor ideas.
  • Consent records: acceptance of the Official Rules, the version accepted, acceptance time and optional marketing consent.
  • Website and referral information: campaign tags, referring website hostname, a random session-only analytics identifier, page and survey-step events, and submission time.
  • Security information: a short-lived, pseudonymous rate-limit signal derived from network and browser information. Sponsor does not use that signal to identify visitors and does not store a raw IP address in the survey or analytics tables.

How information is used

Sponsor uses information to administer the Giveaway, verify and contact the potential winner, enforce entry limits, prevent fraud and abuse, understand survey completion, analyze product interest and plan a potential product launch. If an entrant separately selects the optional marketing checkbox, Sponsor may also send product updates and first-drop news. Marketing messages will include a way to unsubscribe.

How information is disclosed

Sponsor may disclose information to hosting, database, security, analytics and communications service providers that process it on Sponsor’s behalf; to professional advisers; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or complete a business transaction. Amazon is not a Sponsor and does not receive Giveaway entry information from Sponsor. Sponsor does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising.

Retention

Identifiable Giveaway entry and website analytics records will be retained for up to 24 months after the Giveaway closes and then deleted or deidentified, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for a legal claim, tax obligation, fraud investigation or other legal requirement. Short-lived rate-limit records are set to expire after 15 minutes and are removed through routine cleanup. Optional marketing subscription information is retained until the entrant unsubscribes; Sponsor may retain a limited suppression record afterward to honor that request.

Choices and requests

Entrants may request access to, correction of or deletion of their personal information, or withdraw optional marketing consent, by writing to Sponsor at the address in Section 1. Sponsor may request information needed to verify the request and may retain information where permitted or required by law. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority. Sponsor will not discriminate against anyone for making a privacy request.

Browser signals, security and children

The site does not use cross-site advertising cookies or targeted advertising, so Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals do not change its behavior. Sponsor uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. The Giveaway is not directed to anyone under 18, and Sponsor does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this notice

If this privacy notice materially changes, Sponsor will post the revised notice on this page with a new effective date. Questions and privacy requests may be mailed to Sponsor at the address in Section 1.

9. Winner information and questions

For questions or, after the Giveaway concludes, the winner’s first name, last initial and state, write to the Sponsor at the address above. Requests must be received within 90 days after the promotion ends.
